EDIT: My Seti Q is not shutting down

This is a heads up to all those using my Seti@Home queue. I'll be giving my 2 weeks at my current employer (where I have my server co-located for free) and I'm not sure what's going to happen to my box afterwards. I'll have more information this coming week after I have notified my boss about my departure.

On the plus side, I just got a dream job (albeit temporary) and a chance at an awesome full time position.

Edit: Just got word from my boss that I can keep my dedicated server! So all is well right now. Those who have left the Q are welcome to get back on. Thanks for all your support!

I also start dream job Tuesday (also albeit temporary contract) and also with chance of it becoming full time position.

I have been back in Wireless Telecom for the last year but a different Carrier than Cingular.

Muc, besides your jSetiDoor Queue, it appears there are only three active TeAm SetiQueues currently operating: Shuxclams, Smoke (The Enterprise), and Soni. If you find you cannot move the "Q" let me know ASAP and I'll contact all of your users and get them to either "hook up" to another TeAm Q or point their systems directly to Berkeley. 😉

You have been carrying the biggest load for quite some time and it has really been appreciated. 🙂

The fate of my server is still unknown. My boss hasn't said anything about it, and I'm not sure when I should bring it up.

Also... for those interested... my new job is for CBC Radio 3. It is the online segment of CBC promoting Canadian indie musicians. I go to about 50 concerts a year, and used to religisously listen to this site. My job involves the merge of about 5 other related sites into one super site. I am designing the DB spec and coding the data/business logic for the application.

I'm very excited 🙂. I might be a little in over my head, but it's that's the sort of kick in the pants I need right now. School is done, and my current job isn't challenging enough.
