?

I use smart playlists msotly that filter based on rating or whatever. I do not "browse" those when I am using it. I look it up using artist or genre or whatever .

no. go to music<album, and press play over the one you like, and it will start playign that album,

All you need is good id3tags and you are set.

There isn't any reason to crack open up the manual and read it. Just keep playing around with the damn thing and you'll learn. (I just learned how to use the on-the-go playlist)

id3 tags are your friend. All you need is good id3 tag info and the rest will take care of itself.

hells no. esp for mp3. 192+ u can claim that most people won't notice, but 128 is just bad. newer codecs like aac do better with less.

my only real complaint was that i had to rename a bunch of stuff from cd after i ripped it to mp3 - and put it in my library to sync to my ipod

stuff like: artist name feature this artist

itunes wouldnt put that in the same folder as the rest of the cd... so i would have to change it

other stuff - like the electronica i listen to (dnb, breaks, et) if it could grab the song info (some could) off the tracks, it would list all the artists of the tracks sampled to make the cd - so there is no hope to listen to the mix as a whole the way you can on the cd unless you go in and rename all the artists so that it will all appear in the same folder

pita - but ive got nearly 6 gigs on my ipod in the last few days... still have30+ gigs left to fill on the sucka too
