I have 22 WU's loaded on this machine. With 1 in the MAx Processes and when loking down at the processing it shows 0. Nothings going through.

I use a utility called ATM to show where my cpu power is going and Seti Driver doesnt seem to be starting my CLI. Yes the CLI is in the same directory. Ive fiddled with it for over a week now and im getting sick and tired of it now working. HELP!

EDITjust so you know. The icon in the tray is blue like its working, but no go!

Do you have a check on Use SETI under the Progress monitoring?

Try to rename SETI Driver.cfg to .old, Re start driver and check appropriate boxes and save config again.

If Processing is still 0, click new client and see what happens.

What happens if you rename your user info file and restart SETI Driver?

I have it to use setidriver in progress meter. Tried new client. No dice there eiher.

Ive renamed and deleted all the files and start fresh....NADDA!

Did you check in the folders that Setidriver creates to see if cached WUs are actually there? By default when you install Setidriver, it grabs 1 WU and starts processing it. Then if you change the number of WUs you want cached, it will start creating new numbered folders and will slowly download new WUs into each folder. This process takes a little time.

You may want to delete everything in the folder where Setidriver is (including any old WU folders), then copy the Setidriver binary, the SETI executable, and preferably, a copy of your user_info.sah into that folder, then set Setidriver minimally to work on the 1 WU. Once you confirm that it's working okay, change the value to the number of cached WUs that you actually want, and it should go about creating new folders and downloading new work.

Figured it out finally!

Ive been bringing WU's in I burn to CD cuz I cant get through the proxy at work. Well when I copied the WU's back to the HDD the files are READ ONLY! changed that and viola! WORKING AGAIN!!

Thanks for the help guys.

I've run into the properties being changed to "read-only" quite often (if not every time) when I make a copy of any data file and paste them to a different machine. Not sure if it is only when burning to a CD or not. hmmm
