Edit feature is missing in XP Pro

Usually I am able to right click on an image or picture and select edit to resize it or whatever.....

Suddenly I noticed last week when I right click there is no edit selection?? I hit File in the menu bar and there is no edit there either. On another note- I usually do this to edit pics or screenshots and bitmap is gone from my File tab as well. Under accessories there is no paint anymore.

Ideas??
 
Re-install the software you were using? Sounds like something you installed removed Paint.
