I called the 1 800 number, and I keep getting transfered to my "assigned" sales rep's voicemail.

I'm afraid the item will be shipped already, and I dont want the hassle of having to send it back

anyone got ideas??

EDIT: see title

Call again until you get someone they are usually good about cancelling orders if they haven't shipped.

Don't worry if it does get shipped, just refuse delivery. Are you at least leaving him/her voice messages when you call? Perhaps he/she is checking those messages and can cancel your order w/out talking to you.

his voicemail is full!! but I emailed him though

Hmm I can refuse delivery?? so just tell the ups guy to return it back??

Actually I have 2 orders from them, I want to cancel the first order only (since I forgot to apply the 5% off coupon), is there anyway that I can check the order number before I receive the item?? (both orders are for the same exact items)

depending on what it is that wouldn't necessarily help.

Your only hope is to shave your head, (or buy a wig if you're already bare) burn off your fingerprints with a soldering iron and make for the Amazon. If you can, raid a local cemetary and plant a corpse in your car along with 75 gallons of gasoline just before you put a brick on the accelerator and let it fly off the edge of a cliff. That should buy you a day or 2 before the Dell Death Squad picks up your trail once again.

I've cancelled on their forums before. Just post your order number and tell them that you need an order cancelled ASAP.

OK I just called them up again

and they said they will pay for my future return charges if the item is already shipped

so is it better to just simply refuse delivery?? how long does the normal return procedure take??

oh, you are in for a hassle.

I canceled an order will dell for an ipod about a month ago but they shipped it out the next day. I called and told them I did not want it and I would refuse it. They gave me a refusal authorization # or something. So I refuse the package and it gets back to em the next day.

To this day, I still have no recevied credit. I have been sending em emails once every few days asking what the hell is going on. According to the last email (after I threatened to file charges with my cc# company), they said I should receive credit in 5-7 busines days.

I say just refuse the package and complain to your credit card company. Dont even worry about dealing with dell, they are a pain in the ass, especially now with all the Cust service in India, it has progressively gone down hill.

they probably already charged your CC

delivery and them charging you aren't really related, i don't think that will work

Yes they WILL charge your cc

When the package arrives REFUSE it requesting the courier RETURN TO SENDER

Then call Dell and advise them you have REFUSED the package and request a refund, they will give you a confirmation # for your refund

Your refund can take up to 30 days to credit your credit card
