Edit: First I was talking about attaching a tablet to a drone, now I'm thinking about attaching the tablet to an electric ATV and drive the ATV through the street and talk to people.

I have doubts you could do it with a gas powered ATV, but I have hopes you could do it with a electric ATV.

What do you think?

edit2: If i wasn't clear, I meant I wanted to control the ATV through the tablet, I'm not going to "SIT" on the ATV,

The noise from the drone could be a bit of a bummer.
They nearly have something like this in hospitals already, the cart with the mounted tablet you use to talk to the remote doctor isn't controlled by them, but otherwise, similar concept.

If the tablet is at any angle it would redirect thrust and make it unstable. But in theory if you solve that with some thrust vectoring to counter that, sure. But why?

I was thinking of a drone with a tablet attached to it that I could fly around and talk to people and they could see my face through video chat.

Is this possible?
you mean like Alexander The Great from Bioshock 2?

When I'm on an ATV the last thing on my mind is playing with electronics. Bring a chainsaw instead of an tablet, it will come in more handy when a tree is across the road or trail.

I cannot express how irritating it would be to have an ATV following me around asking me questions while I am trying to enjoy my day off in the park. Even if it was my best friend trying to talk about something that I am interested in, just no.

Distracted driving is already bad enough, but I don't want to live in a world where I have to dodge ATV's, drones, remote control cars, or whatever driven by people in a different city who want to talk with their friends about the latest paladin build in WoW.

I just came across this in downtown LA, it's sort of what I wanted to make.

Segway is easier:

Although previous outdoor robots have not had the best success:

"Justus security robot patrolling in Kraków" (in 2009).

So, yes, it's possible. But I wouldn't DIY it - a rogue ATV could do some damage!
