I think there really is something to selling two bigscreen tv's in one day for a new guy, my store is pretty coo though, people who have been there for a while say that it's laid back and if I show enthusiaasm, I would get hours.

Do you know the discount for an xbox or games because I need to wait a month until I can get mine (employee discount)

you'll probably save 25ish%.

and it's not that big of a deal. your managers make it seem big. trust me.

the GM came last time, and my dept was 4th in the nation and first in the region/district on Sunday, so I guess we did really good. I met the GM and talked with him for a while-cool guy, seemengly

Yes, Best Buy, hehe, I know how everyone here doesn't like BB but I think it's the coolest retail store to work in. Will I get taught the suttleties of plasma tv's like in training?

How would you know it is a great place to work if you never worked there? I really hope you like it, but from what I have heard, the place blows donkey nuts to work for.

Former Employees....

Wow that best buy sux link is interesting,......

Tell the big boss that a product that sells for $159.99 all summer long, subsequently put on a red-tag "clearance" for $159.97, is not really an attractive deal.

Oh wait, I live 6 miles from the ugly new corporate headquarters. I can tell him myself.
