Listening to Delirious - classic and hilarious.

EDIT: You've never listened to Eddie Murphy's old standup stuff? Its what made him famous.

His standup is incredibly funny. Dirty and nasty, but funny. you ain't seen funny Eddie Murphy unless you've watched his old stuff

Oh, definitely. His movements are so part of the act. 😀

My sisters and I memorized it years ago (why my mom was letting me watch that stuff at 10, I don't know) and still quote it often to this day.

"$0.29? That's a bargain...a bargain for me."

Go get a copy of Delerious and Raw. Both are classics.

I agree...when he does Bill Cosby I almost die everytime I hear it 😉

Here's another vote for Delirious -- it was the first VHS stand-up tape that my parents let us watch (they didn't stay to witness the carnage, thank goodness) and it sparked my intersted in stand-up comedy, though these days I lean more towards the Bill Hicks and Dennis Millers of the world...

Oh Man, me and my friends would listen to this over and over.

I like the whole "Cookout" bit.

"Guss, Why is the fire so big? Guss, we're eating hot dogs and franks, not Brontasaurus burgers!"

haha, good times.

Hey Elvis....want some lemonade?

Want a Fire? Want a Fire? Gimmee that gallon of Gas!

What the Fvck is gooney goo-goo Gus?!?

Hummina Hummina Hummina......waaaaaaaaaaaa.

If you can find his first Tape (Comedian) it's definitely worth the listen.
Especially the the song called "Boogie In Da Butt". There is also another
song with Eddie playing the parts of Buckwheat and Richard Simmons
yelling at each other....freaking hilarious.

none of my friends have ever seen delerious or raw so every time i pull out a quote they all look at me like wtf... but seriously delerious is some hilarious $hit...

Memories.....

I was in Jr High when Delirious was released. Me and my friends listened to it all the time. Very good comedy.

I know you're seven....I know you're seven...

But you'll be a seven year old, walking the dog, no-house motherf*****
