Anyone have any experince with them?

I need a new coat anstumbled upon this

one.

Eddie bauer stuff has always treated me good.....

I also saw this one, which is half the price The pne I saw was black and red though. However, last time i bought a shirt from Aeropostale, all the buttons fell off after 2 weeks....

My g/f says i should get a Northface coat, but those cost way too much. Any suggestions?

I've had Eddie Bauer coats for the last 30 years, I love them, haven't found anything I'd rather own.

I don't thnk $130 for a coat is over priced......

me either.

Ditto.

Eddie Bauer's clothes hold up very well. In fact, the only thing I didn't like (besides the clothes they put their name all over) was their jeans because they were too high in the waist... but they actually listened to the customer and now have lower rise jeans.

I usually buy their clearance stuff at the end of the season for some serious savings.

Eddie Bauer and Landsend are both good choices for a coat that will last for years.

OVERPRICED!!!!!!!!!!and they make people look like dads.

If you "must" have new coats every year to be at the height of fashion, I guess some cheap, shoddy, disposable, cold coat makes good sense. You'll shiver in style!

Eddie Bauer clothes are high quality and last a long time. Their styling leaves something to be desired for me though. That is a nice jacket though.

right now I'm wearing an Eddie Bauer jacket, but it's not as heavy as that one. Seems to be high quality, and is pretty comfy.

I'm wearing an EB coat today I bought about 10 years ago. I'd have to give it a thumbs up.

I already have a longer version of a pea coat that i got for a present for my first job interview. My aunt wants me to get another coat though b/c she says that i should save that coat for better occassions.:)

I like Eddie Bauer b/c their clothes never craps out on me like other clothes does. One time I had a pair of Eddie Bauer pants my g/f bought me rip. She told me to bring it back and they gave me a new pair. I am not sure they do that anymore, but dam, those pants have lsyed me 3 years. Too bad I am getting chubby:(

Agreed.

They've actually replaced coats I've worn out at no charge. That was a bunch of years ago, though, thier policies might have changed on that, YMMV.

I am not counting out those. I actually have an old one, but the quality was not that good. I looked at one the other day, and it looks like the quaity improved.

The coat you have is called a topcoat, which is, like your aunt suggests, suited for evenings and/or formal occasions.
