The problem with transgender people is that they identify themselves as boy or girl, and not as girl-turned-boy or boy-turned-girl. So when people find out their secret they feel deceived and hurt--ESPECIALLY when those people were in a relationship with the transgender person. They get nailed for hiding the truth. I can understand that some transgenders may be scared to reveal their gender identity and sexuality for obvious reasons. They may want to hide the truth from society in general, but they can't expect to hide it from those they are in relationships with and expect to get away with it. Wasn't Hilary Swank in a movie about this (movie based on a true story?)
