I got the k7s5a mobo six months ago from newegg, it stopped working now. I emailed ECS to return the board, but was shocked to find out that the 1 year warranty is for people who got the mobo directly from ECS.
Essentially the warranty is only 30 days from newegg.
Is other Mobo warranty similar to ECS's crappy warranty??

Please contact your vendor for RMA (return merchandise authorization)purposes. ECS can only RMA motherboards that come from direct customers. A direct customer is a vendor that purchases directly from the manufacturer, ECS and has proof of purchase.Endusers must go through the vendor channel for RMA. If your warranty has expired through your vendor then that is the extent of your warranty.
