I got this cheap board with an intel core 2 cpu from frys yesterday (gigabyte ds3 is dead and i'm RMAING IT) so I want to use this board for a week or until I Get my other board back.

Anyways, when I plug in my WD 36gb raptor via sata, in the bios it has a different name each time, and it shows it being 8gb sometimes, and 275gb sometimes its odd. I got a ide hard drive, and I loaded the windows disk and It put all the files on there, and when I reboot my computer so windows can installing, it has an error saying something is wrong with the boot disk configuration, and when I try to format the WD hard drive it does nothing. Any help?

Specs :

2gb ddr2

Thanks.
