when i try to change it from 100 to 133 via jumpers... the computer loads up to a white screen and does nothing.. whats going on?!

i think when my memory is set to above 100mhz in the bios.. the system will boot up to some sort of error.

so when i change my cpu FSB to 133mhz it causes my ram to change to 133mhz so it loads up to that white screen.

i have a corsair 512 mb ddr ram stick.. not sure of the model

edit: sometiems when i set it to 133fsb.. my monitor doesnt even turn on!

Is that a 400 or 533 fsb p4? Ecs boards aren't designed for overclocking. 100 is the right setting for a 400 2.4a.

how do i find out the FSB of the processor?? and if the board isnt designed for overclocking, how come there is a guide to changing the FSB in the manual? just wondering

Sometimes a cpu will overclock by just changing the fsb setting. But your's won't. My 2.8c will run at 3500 just by changing the fsb from 200 to 250 with a good power supply.
