I own one of these, as an emergency backup rig in case one of my other rigs die. So I can't directly comment on performance, but I've installed the Biostar equivalent board (same CPU), and it has decent performance, especially with an SSD.

More than enough for office tasks, and YouTube and stuff.

Edit: These are 1.8Ghz Ivy Bridge dual-cores, and they generally blow away any Atom rig.

Hmm what about a Athlon x2 250? It's either start from scratch or finish that build.

AAAaaaaahhhh! I can't take my eyes off the PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports... and the serial port.

Seriously rockin' that I/O layout circa 2002...

...however, the low power, solid caps, 6gb/s SATA and even a 16x PCI-E slot make this worth a look.

It's more of a three year old investment that I never finished through. I'll just use what I got and finish it up.

SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS This product cannot be shipped to MD

*sigh*

Really? That's hilarious. Why MD only?

I expect these kinds of things from California...

Probably the warehouse it is in would make the UPS trip too long or something. Or perhaps the shipping from the NJ warehouse to MD would cause them to incur a loss or something. Or maybe too many people in MD complain and return their products.

Usually, shipping restrictions, are the result of some sort of state-specific legislation, that would affect their business.

As much as it is an awesome price (I'm in the market now to building a full fledge media streamer), throwing in the missing pieces and a mini itx case (esp one that does not look like crap) will take you over the cost of those smaller 5x5 NUC boxes.

Yeah, but I am just not seeing it. Other mobos can be shipped there just fine. Maybe UPS just doesn't want to give express service from the NJ warehouse to MD. Items sometimes take only 1 business day to get to MD.
