I know this sounds like a dumb question, but how does one go about RMA'ing a ECS motherboard?
I have followed the directions on their website that say you must first email their tech support. I have sent 3 emails in the past three weeks and have got 0 replies.

Does anyone know of a phone number to call ECS tech or warranty support?
Has anyone sucessfully RMA'd something back to ECS recently? If so what's your secret?

Doesn't look good:

Note: from 2004:

http://www.anandtech.com/showdoc.aspx?i=1952&p=6

At least this link stills works:

http://www.ecsusa.com/ecswebsi....aspx?MenuID=0&LanID=9

RMA link:

http://www.ecsusa.com/ECSWebSi...aspx?MenuID=25&LanID=9

OK, that has to be one of the worst RMA pages I have ever seen..
.I do not see any way to contact them to get the RMA number; I guess you are supposed to go through their tech support person? Email to:

support@ecsusa.com

Or hey, here are their phone numbers:

http://www.computerhope.com/comp/ecs.htm

PHONE: (510) 226-7333

Works: Customer service: #7

Note: The ECS motherboards I see are most often the near freebies in Fry's ads specials: in other words, may not be worth the time and the postage.....cut losses and get higher quality replacement board?

I've rma'd a m/b to them about two years ago. it wasn't that bad. you call and the tech support guy tries to troubleshoot the problem. when he eventually comes to the conclusion you need to send the board back they give you a number and you ship it off. ECS is only 15 miles away, so I saved some shipping and dropped it off in person. They were even willing to ship it back to me for free. I think the replacement was a brand new board since I didn't have to flash the bios like the first one.
