Installed new MB & Athlon 900 cpu. Did not re-install the opsys
which is WinMe.
When I try to run the 4in1, it locks up after reaching 100%.

Any ideas ?

Format your drive and do a fresh install. What brand was your old MOBO ?

There are some registry entries that need to be deleted prior to swapping a MOBO without formatting the hard drive. I believe that you also need to delete any hardware, using device manager so that it can be detected by the OS while running on the new MOBO.

Do some searches in this forum or the hardware forum for swapping MOBOS without formatting the hard drive.

PS the shared onboard video on the K7VZM will really slow down the processor. I prefer the rev 3 K7VZA with 266 FSB.

The old MB was SOYO 5EHM.
If I install the 4in1 drivers one by one, the AGP and the ATAPI got installed, but the INF is the one causing the problem.
Do I need the INF driver ?
There is no onboard video on the K7VZM, just audio which is disabled and
the LAN which I am using.
Should I disable the onboard lan and use a NIC card ?

What is the latest BIOS update for K7VZM REV 1 ?
