ecs k7vta3 v2.0 won't boot

well i just went to upgrade the bios from 2.0a to 2.2 today and everything went fine during the bios upgrade. however on reboot, the computer starts up for 3 seconds, then shuts off completely. i tried clearing the cmos through jumper 7 and that didn't do anything. does anyone have any suggestions on what else to try. this is the first time ever that a motherboard stopped working after i've updated the bios.

I am not familiar with that particular board, but I have had the same thing happen when I was overclocking. Set to default and retry booting.

Many boards do this when they don't detect a spinning CPU fan.
