Okay, I tried 3 different types of working memory and all don't work with this board. I have tried the DDR 400 and DDR 333. Neither is helping. I have this board, the XP2000, ATI All in Wonder 8500DV, WD 80gb hd, Liteon DVD/CDRW combo as my bare minimum of devices installed. The cpu has been tested with another board just like the ram. The power supply is some 350 watt ps that I was using before my Asus board burned out so I'm wondering if that could be the problem. when I try to boot up, you hear a long beep, and two short beeps. The monitor doesn't even get a signal. I also checked to make sure the jumpers were set to 133mhz like the manual. This board is rev 8.0
Can anyone figure this out?

Thanks

"Bare minimum" is CPU, fan/heatsink, RAM, graphics card. Try that. And don't forget: You need to have the "CMOS Clear" jumper on Normal, the CPU fan plugged into the CPUFAN header, and the power switch connector on the Power Button header.

Hi
Problem got fixed! I had to disable the firewire port in my ATI AIW 8500Dv.
