Hi all,

I am having a problem with stability in Unreal Tournament 436 (Direct3d extensively, and occasionally OpenGL). I play the game like normal and all of a sudden it hard freezes its self and the system. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to it. Sometimes it hangs immediatly when I start UT, other times I can play for a few mins... but it *always* hangs eventually. This is the case for some other games as well.

I am thinking that this is a VIA AGP issue, because I have invesitagted all other avenues I could think of. (and those listed at geforcefaq.com) I have tried multiple detonator versions both final and beta, the 12.xx series, 6.xx, 7.xx, no luck. I have also tried multiple VIA AGP update versions on viahardware.com

Can anyone suggest something I can do to help fix UT stability with out changing to the older VIA AGP drivers? Is this maybe a bug in the ECS K7VTA3 system board?

Thanks!

Mike
