ECS K7SEM V 3.0 - Question

Hi, does anyone know if this motherboard can take other CPU's such as Athlon XP's? I know the Duron 1.2 is onboard but is it fixed or can it be upgraded?

Unfortunately there is no cpu upgrade path with that particular MB.

The cpu is integrated into the board itself, not into a socket.

However, there is always the Amptron/PCchips m810LMR ver7.x. Same board but features a socket for cpu upgrades. It also supports up to the XP2100+ cpu.
