Hi. I have this motherboard installed with a Deskstar 6O GXP. I am attempting to get the drive to work in UDMA 5, however it remains in PIO Mode 4. My other drives on both channels have DMA operational.

I have installed the SIS 745 IDE 203 update, but this has only enabled my CDRW to be run in DMA, the hard drive is still in PIO mode.

Can anyone help? I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drive, the IDE channel drivers etc to no avail.

Is there something I've missed out...perhaps a jumper setting on the drive? Thanks much
