Hi for everyone that has this board is this board really good? Also what would you rate if from 1-10. Last question can this board run durons?

I have built three systems using this board, all three have been very stable. Yes you can use Duron's on this board, the BIOS defaults to a 100 Mhz FSB, so if you use a 266 processor you need to change it manually, it won't auto-detect. The ECS website has good info on which BIOS is needed to recognize processors above 1.2 Ghz. I would rate this board a 7 or 8 0ut of ten. There are many websites that have done reviews of this board and the are all favorable. There are no real overclocking options though.

A lot of people (he-he, that's an understatement) reported of problems with this board. But for some it works just great and flawless. I'd rate it somewhere near the '3' mark out of 10. It's PSU and RAM picky, that's what people who have built a lot of systems with it seem to say.

I have two systems runing this board. (check my sig for specs). Both run great. One is a Duron and the other an XP. Both are overclocked. The Duron is using sdram and the XP DDR. The ram is name brand but their "basic" stuff. I am using a Deer psu (300w) in the Duron and a turbolink (420w) in the xp. I know people have had problems with this board for one reason or another but I have yet to see it. For the $$ the board is a solid performer and great value. But as with anything, YMMV.

Hope that helps!
