Hi, All,
Is there anyone using the above combination?
Well, ATI's multimedia package 7.x has problem playing DVD in full screen mode. I know this is already an old issue known to ATI. They are still working on it.
I though it was a software problem. everytime when I try to maximize the DVD, the system reboots. Today, I tried to configure the options in ATI's DVD and clicked OK. Then, the system goes to black screen and hangs.
I have to wait for the ATI's solution.
Ok...
Here is another problem. Running PowerDVD 2.2??
when I click on the maximize, the DVD window goes back and forth between normal size and maximum size continuously. Does not stop at all unless I manually end the process through task manager. This happens only in my K7S5A with AMD XP1700+. The system has Win 2K w/ SR2 and 1G SDRAM (from previous system. I am still with SDs not DDR). Everything new in the system. My PIII system using ATI RagePro VIVO runs fine with Power DVD.

The TV out is also black & white. No idea why. NTSC with SONY 20" using composite input. No response from ATI yet after a week of waiting.

Should I upgrade the PowerDVD to the new version? or Replace the Radeon VE?

:D
