Ecs k7s5a power cable problem

The power cable attaching the mobo to the power source is causing me problems. The only way the cable will read is by me sitting there holding it firmly down. Just wondering if anyone could suggest some way's to solve this problem of mine. Any ideas are appreciated, thx.

Plug it in all the way. If that doesn't work return it(or RMA).

Is the little tang on the power cable still there?

Is the little clip holder on the MB power connector?

well i got it working..there was one or more of the wires that wasnt connecting well...whether it was poor connection on the board or cord i dont know, but minimizing the connection area seems to have worked
