I am building three machines with these mobo's and AMD 1400 T-Bird CPU, with 256MB ram.

I am having serious problems on boot up on all of them.

The main thing is the video keeps going to standby whenever the machine is reset. For example, I could be installiong Win 2k, and then after it goes through the PC must be restarted. the pc restarts but the video seems to go into STANDBY mode. In order to get it going again, i have to remove power, and keep trying to turn it on until i get VIDEO signal.

Is there a patch for the motherboard bios or something I am not seeing?

First try simply re-seating your video card. Next, try another card (if possible). Even better would be to try a PCI card and see if it will boot that way.

I found out the problem.

It was the NetGear NIC. For some reason, it was creating the problems.

As soon as i took it out, everything is working fine.

I have replaced them with 3com NIC's.

Thanks for your help.
