ECS K7S5A Extra USB header---where can I buy it?

If you can spend a liitle more, you can get the Antec easy usb kit which works with that mobo.
I think buy.com has it.

I have an ECS K7S5A and an extra USB port (x2) addon which came with my MSI K7T266. So far this has not worked with the ECS - is there any way I could rearrange the wires on the header to make it work on my ECS?

The wire order is Black - Black - Green - White - Red , which seems to be the same as the Belkin addon.

I used the exta USB header that came with one of my Asus boards, it worked just fine.

cost effective?...definitely the additional bracket for the onboard header...it's the cheapest solution to add additional USB ports..

unless, of course, you can find yourself a nearly free USB hub...they're out there...i prefer them, since it's nice to have an external USB hub (powered at that) that can be located wherever you want, rather than only the back of your tower

I just picked up a USB header from Fry's. It was $13 and came with 2 USB ports that occupy one of your slot openings. I simply took the USB headers and installed them in my extra 3/12 external drive bay blank and Presto, now I have two front accessible USB ports for under $15 and about 30 min. of time.

I'd rather use an external hub. If you use a backplate, you lose an expansion slot (i.e., PCI slot).

Ditto and you get the bandwidth of the second USB channel, with the hub you don't.

what???...all USB devices share the same bandwidth, if I'm not mistaken...and I don't think I am.
