Hi got one of the refurg. from newegg, work (as i am typing this with the board) but sometimes hang when running some software as the same time. (all other parts: CPU, PSU, drives are from an existing working K7S5A system, just replace board and upgrade BIOS and test out)
So i causually look at the board. To my surprise. One of the cap is missing: C80. This black cap is located at the right bottom corner near the RAM slots and next to 2 green cap. (should be close to your CDROM etc) (account to my old 104 board)
Looks like it is broken off because it just has long legs with it (means not the kind they usually intened to leave empty:an empty place filled with metal). So my guess is: the user before force a drive into it and knock it off.
Can someone with this board and BIOS sticker 108 or later help me, open your case and take a look, please. To see if they just design to let this cap empty. Thanks in advance.
