ECS K7S5A board adding usb

I need more usb outlets. I noticed the board has a plug designated add usb. Where do I find this add on plug and adapter? Does it need to be made for this particular baord? Where do I get the drivers?
Thanks in advance for any help🙂

I would imagine that all you would need is the 10 pin usb riser card. Its two rows of 5 pins and Windows (as long as its win98 or above) should automatically detect the new usb ports. If not just use the driver for generic usb hub.

Sometimes the extra USB headers have to be enabled in the BIOS. I have an EPoX 8KHA that has 3 USB headers. When I got the board, only header 1 & 2 were enabled. Just something to think about if you find the header doesn't work. 🙂

Not exactly what you are asking but I got a ac powered usb hub. It costs about $20.00 but I have seen some for even less after mail in rebate. That way you can add 4 or 8 ports and have them right on your desk within reash instead of going behind the pc to plug/unplug.
Like I said, I know it's not answering your question but it may be something that would be a better alternative.
