ECS K7S5A BIOS flashing -solution to bad flashes?

For those having difficulties getting their BIOS to flash correctly, I noticed at the ECS website (http://www.ecs.com.tw/download/k7s5a.htm) that there are two different BIOS's: s5a010724.exe for "K7S5A W/O LAN" and s5a010724a.exe for "K7S5A W/LAN", both with a release data of 08/06/2001. After reading numerous posts concerning bad BIOS flashes, I thought this might be important to note.

The issue seems to be the flash utility. If you're using the 010806 service BIOS, you need to use the flasher that's bundled with it. That flasher is different from the one on ECS' site.
