ECS K7S5A and EVERCASE E4252

I need your help here. I am building a computer and I am experienced with everything except cases.

Does anyone know if the EVERCASE E4252WEF5 will fit the ECS K7S5A? I already built another system with the same motherboard, but the RAM slots run into where the CD drive is supposed to go. I think my present case is a mini-tower and the Evercase is a mid-tower so it ought to fit.

Thanks,

i built a system for my mom utilizing the evercase and k7s5a combo, and it worked like a charm. didnt have the time to figure the pinout on the front usb, but i'll get it done someday 🙂

I'm using this combo and I like the front USB ports. Now I don't have to reach around the back when I wanna upload pix from my digital camera.

Here they are
10. How do I connect the extra USB ports?

The K7S5A has a header for connecting two extra USB ports, but you need to buy an extra cable. The cable should have two USB ports on one end and a motherboard connector on the other. You also need to know what each pin connects to:

1 --- 2 Red (+ 5V)
3 --- 4 White ( -- Data)
5 --- 6 Green ( + Data)
7 --- 8 Black/Gray (Ground)
9 --- Black/Gray (Ground) or not connected

thanks guys, i do believe that it's not printed in the manual and i did not have another pc connected at her house, so i was at the mercy of the printed manual.
damn skimpy manuals. now abit manuals, they rock.
