ECS k7s5A and 66mhz FSB

I have set my motherboard to 133/133 in the bios. The motherboard recognizes the processor as XP 2000. I can not figure out why my fsb is still at 66mhz. My machine is scoring terribly on any memory test or hard drive test I run.

System Info says cpu running at 1.62 ghz fsb at 66mhz.
system specs

XP 2000+ processor
ECS k7s5a motherboard with latest bios
256 MB of PC-150 Ram
40 GB Quanum drive (ATA 66) 7200 rpm
Geforce 2 Mx 400 Videodard

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have tried several other PC-133 Ram.

well, here is what i think!

simple test...

you said 1.62 Ghz /66 Mhz ---> a multiplier of 24.5!!! I do not think that this is even possible with any athlon out there, much less motherboard support for it!

I might be wrong though... 😛

I wouldn't worry about it, Your most likely running on a 133 FSB and not 66 FSB. I remember seeing a post about this on here before. It had to do with lot of software reading the XPs FSB as 66 and not 133. I run this little proggie CPUFSB and it also tells me that i'm running my XP on a 66FSB (K7S5A too), but i'm not.
