ECS 945 GCT ram compatability.

I am building my first intel rig and it consists of ECS 945 GCT M 1333 3.0 E6750 mushkin DDR2 PC8500.

My main question is will my mushkin ram run on this mobo? I bought the mobo and CPU in a combo deal and I want to use a low end mobo for a few months till I can save up for gaming board.

I know that you can run a Higher speed DDR1 ram at lower speeds on a cheaper board and Im hoping the same is true for DDR2.

Yea, you can run the mushkin at a lower speed.
