its either the ecs and the 805 or can i run a Pentium D processor on a Pentium 4 motherboard?

does anyone have any more reviews of this ecs board? all i know is its cheap and runs dual channel and dual core. i need a cheap server solution, not for a real server, just like movies/music and games for lans.

thank you!

You will need to go to the ECS site and get the newest Bios and see if it supports the 8xx series CPUs.

OK ECS says if you have version 1.1 of the board then NO it does not support dual core. If it is aversion 2.0 then YES it does support dual core.

So check your board for the version mark/sticker and see what ya got. If it is a 2.0 update the Bios and you can run a 805.
