Bought a chevy cav 2004. Yeah, prolly the worst safety rating for front side impacts...but the ECOTEC engine was succesful in the Saturn, so now GM is mass producing it and sticking it in chevy cavs and now of course the Cobalt...Is this engine decent? or will it crap out like my fiancee's last grand am GT's 2.4 DOHC did?
Thanks

Suppose to be an awesome 4 banger. Probably the only good thing about your car besides the low price.

Out of curiousity, I looked at napa, autozone, and acdelco's websites...no leads
