i've had TWO of two potential clients in the last 2 weeks go with a MUCH more expensive vendor, by more expensive i mean by a factor of 3 or 4. i can field my product at around $8k and both of these potential clients went with products that are over $20k.
are there differences in features, yes, my product is a lower end product, however, i do come with a GREAT reputation and GREAT references and usually those things will overcome product deficiencies, well that and the fact that my product comes in at 1/3 to 1/4 the price.
oh well.
can't complain about a good economy, i've been extremely busy lately so i probably could not have handled both clients coming on board at the same time, but sheesh.
sux to lose.
