Just curious, is there a list of esteemed economists that support either his 5 cent tax, increased energy research funding, or even increased physical science grants? I'm in a huge debate with anti-ivory tower types that are completely against any federal funding of energy research. Since Bush is finally restoring energy research funding to Clinton levels I would assume there are plenty of economists that do. The people I'm arguing with still say the oil companies should do it all. I'm just wondering if there is a list or a few names I can drop as they are telling me there isn't.
