Thinking about taking an Econ class and this is the description. How would you rate this class interms of difficulty.

The class i called Mathematical Economics and this is the topics covered:

*. Systems of Linear Equations
1. Matrix and Vector Operations
2. Gaussian and Gauss-Jordon elimination
3. The Leontieff Input-Output Model
4. Matrix Inversion
5. Minors, Cofactors, Determinants
6. Cramer's Rule

*. Multivariable Calculus
1. Definition of Partial Derivative
2. Applications of Partial Derivatives to Production and Consumer Theory

*. Unconstrained Static Optimization Theory
1. Necessary and Sufficient Conditions in Unconstrained Problems
2. Implicit Function Theorem
3. Economic Methodology and Mathematics
4. Homogeneous Functions and Euler's Theorem
5. Applications to Economic Models: Comparative Statics, the Envelope Theorem, and the LeChatlier Principle

*. Constrained Static Optimization Theory
1. Necessary and Sufficient Conditions in Constrained Problems
2. Applications to Economics Models: Comparative Statics, the Envelope Theorem, and the Le Chatlier Principle

Not the exact course, but I have covered

*. Systems of Linear Equations
1. Matrix and Vector Operations
2. Gaussian and Gauss-Jordon elimination
3. The Leontieff Input-Output Model
4. Matrix Inversion
5. Minors, Cofactors, Determinants
6. Cramer's Rule

*. Multivariable Calculus
1. Definition of Partial Derivative

With an addition of some economics it shouldn't be that bad.

I already know how to do those things. But I wanted to know how difficult the econ part will be.

if you can handle the math behind the economics, applying it will not be too bad

the hardest part with these kind of classes for me were understanding how to do the math

Sounds like the Business Calculus course offered at my school. So long as you have a firm foundation in algebra, I think it'd be easy.

This is not a Business Calculus course. The Prereq for this course is Linear Algebra and Multivariate Calculus course that Engineering majors take.

Meh... so it's a little more advanced... ;)
