eCommerce is a sign of the rapture

I expect a global economy in the 21st century, which first will manifest itself as a cashless society. I believe that plastic will take the place of cash, and that while this will only be fulfilled during the tribulation period at the Rapture, I believe that God is setting the stage for, and laying the infrastructure for, a cashless society right now. Most people, many pay their bills online already. And the day will come, I believe, when there will be no cash, and the only way you can get cash and trade and to do business is to [points to his forehead] have the mark of the beast.
Now I'm a little confused about his reasoning. If god is the one "setting the stage" and "laying the infastucture for a cashless society" then why would we need the mark of the beast to do business? Why would we need the mark of the beast to use god's infastructure?

Exactly. Why would God set the stage for the world to come to an end? He built the thing, right? It seems that outside forces would cause the end of it, beyond God's control.

Either that, or God's retarded. Either way, I had sex with his son, and it was hot.

Its Fallwell, it doesn't have to make sense for some people to believe that its as good as Jesus' word.

I'm not a fan of Falwell but I'll try to answer your questions.

The book of Revelation offers vague clues about the end times on earth before the second coming of Christ.

It is said the Anti-Christ will rise to world power and a global economy will be created. The Anti-Christ will worship Satan. He/she will put into effect a ruling that no one can conduct business without taking a loyalty mark to the world gov't. This mark will just happen to be the mark of the beast.

God has set the time-table for the end events, so he would prepare the way for the end to come about.

Falwell is one of the confused that thinks setting up the conditions for the "rapture"(which doesn't/won't exist) is "God's" doing or the doing of those who want the Second Coming. The prophecies are about someone("the Anti-Christ") coming along and creating a situation so bad that Human life on Earth will cease to exist, thus forcing "God" to intervene before it's too late. "God" doesn't do anything to cause the events mentioned, We do. The problem lies in taking the prophecies literaly and not figuratively.

"God" is not a Being, "God" is a catch-all iconic figure for things not understood.

The "mark of the beast" will be a sign of loyalty to the "Antichrist", and it will be an obvious sign of pledged loyalty. It's not going to be JUST a tattoo, or a chip, or something else.... it will be a sign of allegiance. And apparently it will also be required for purchasing goods... Many people think it will be a big database of registered humans, and everything you own (money, cars, house) and all your identification information will be included in it.

So yeah, it is pretty scary, and not totally unreasonable to see something like that happened in the future, ESPECIALLY if the economy tanks. Think 1984 and you basically got it. Remember, economic chaos breeds political radicalism...

So we have all these Christian leaders who are getting worried about a cashless economy, inflation, oil, middle eastern wars, powerful leaders, etc. While it may not mean God is coming back, I personally think none of those things paint a pretty picture for humanity's future. Call me what you will, but what worries me most about our current time is the extreme government involvement in our personal lives, and the lack of a way to control the continual growth of governmental power and control.

From the book of Gates, chapter 640, verse 8088:

"And thee will use God's creation, the mouse, and shall click on "Add to cart", and the angels shall point to thee in CS and destroy thee."

You've confused the story. A kitten was killed while we were doing it. Jesus always wants to take everything to the next level, he's a party guy
