Ecobee 3 or ecobee 4

I am looking at the Ecobee thermostats. I don't need the remote sensors at all. Should I get a 3 or a 4? Looks like all the 4s come with sensors and a higher price tag

The only other thing the Ecobee 4 has is built in support for Amazon Alexa. If that is not important to you then a 3 would meet your needs.

I bought a 4 precisely because it had a sensor included and Amazon support. Hope to install it in the next few weeks.

I have the ecobee 3 with sensors. I have it integrated with my home automation system as well but to be honest, only one of my automations uses it (resetting the thermostat schedule when we both leave our house). I've generally been happy.
