echo problem with new HS850

i received my new HS850 today, and has several differences when compared to my old one...this one is alot louder, you don't have to hold the button down for 10 seconds to go into pair mode, if you flip the boom out to connect while receiving a call, it will autoanswer...thats all i can think of, but they are all good impovements. Now the problem is, if i have the volume set above the max volume of my old HS850, the person on the other end can hear a very loud echo of their own voice. and it only seems to happen above the max volume of the old one. Did i get a defective unit or what?

I thought echo was a common problem for BT headsets. I do love my Jabra 250 though

i'm starting to think that may be why they had the volume capped at such a comparitively low lvl on the older HS850's...then they got complaints, and said "have it your way.."
