Question Echo add-on speaker

I'm sure there's a basic concept I'm missing here, but I'll ask anyway. I want Alexa to play music from the base Echo, and also in a remote location, simultaneously. When you pair a bluetooth speaker, it kills the music from the Echo. So I'm thinking I need a wifi speaker, but it appears they are all extensions of the Echo, in that they have the ability to respond to commands, a Dot, for instance. But I'd like a single outdoor speaker that will mirror whatever the Echo is doing inside, without the ability to chat with Alexa, if you see what I mean... Am I making this harder than it needs to be, or does what I'm looking for exist and I'm just not searching correctly. Thanks all zz03
