ECCP Question etc.

Okay,

I have roughly 40 machines here (slowest being a 600mhz p3) and I currently have them cranking out some d.net blocks.. thinking of switch to eccp.. but:

(a) how often does it flush it's data
(b) is there anyway (currently) to centralize the path of that data (i.e. dnet pproxy)?

If the "permenent connection" box is checked in it will flush as soon as it is done. If not, it will flush when you hit "send data." Also, you can send it manually if there are problems.

There might be a proxy, but I don't know.

I've e-mail the creator and someone involved with the project i know personally. Maybe I can lend them a hand with the 5 seconds of free time I have a day 😉

I currently have machines sitting on 1-3 DP each.. is this normal?

Thyme,

I *believe* that's what the software is telling me. I'm using the cmdline version cause well I hate gui clients (unless they are dead sexy 😉 )

Are you running the optimized clients?
They seem to give me a big speed increase. At least its an increase from the earlier clients.

Hey, Steve! Long time no see! 🙂

So, are you going to blow my optimizations out of the water? 😉
