eccp for os x?

I have a g4 mac os x server wasting tons of cycles ...

I want to put it on eccp109 but there doesnt seem to be a client for it .... is there a freebsd version that I could possibly use in that case ? any ideas?


I already have 3 machines running dnet and only 2 running eccp ... I could put this one on dnet also and switch one of those boxes to eccp but Im way to lazy to do something like that ....

There is no publicly posted port for OS X that I am aware of. I believe that those folks running on FreeBSD are using a Linux client and running in Linux compatibility mode.

Shouldn't you rather use that G4 for rc5 since it's AltiVec really rocks in it?

Im getting 50% better rc5 performance on that G4 than my 1ghz pIII ....

Im thinking altivec might rock for eccp109, but since I dont know how to code for it, I cant test it 🙁
