Sorry for the later than usual race update but I was away donating blood and I got back to office as soon as I can. And here it is...

First quarter (Sun Sep 16 00:06:19 2001)

Dutch Power Cows : 447730
Team Anandtech : 325019 (+122,711 to match DPC) +10,067 since last update
Sysopt : 259217 (+65,802 to match TA, +188,513 to match DPC) -16,551, -6,484 since last update

What in the...?! What the...?! When I check the stats and found TA suddenly gained 10,639 dps, my jaw dropped :Q. Like WOW!!!. I noticed that SO also lost 5,912 dps which basically means someone left SO for TA. A quick check on the team list and I found that Twioz has returned to the fold 😀. Yahoo!!! This was confirmed by viztech.

Two things I would like to mention here: -
  1. Welcome back, Twioz 😀. I hope you are staying for good.
  2. Eventhough Twioz's unexpected return gave us a real big boost, nevertheless, the threat that is SO is real and they can easily outpace us if they hold true to the results shown for the past 2 days. Let us not rest on our laurels and find more ways to increase production! 😀

[edit] Better late than never. Congrats to kmmatney for reaching #3 in TA :Q. An unbelievable feat 😀.

Originally I defected becuase I thought that Sysopt was going to be TA/Sysopt but that did not happen. I decided to return to TA because it is truly my home and the site that I visit most. I left the Eccp-109 project for awhile to help out in Seti@home but now that the race is getting close and TA needs my help in ECCP I will be switching my machines back.
 
Well, looks like I got myself joined to the team this time.
Now that the big Seti race is over for awhile, I thought I'd check out another DC project that Team Anandtech is working on.

I've switched over about 3.5GHz worth of systems to this project, so I ought to be heading up in the list!

If there are any tweaks to get more out of a system, let me know. I currently have the Athlon optimised code running.

It was a major setback for Sysopt to lose you, but Sysopt will still DOMINATE! ECCp-109 😀

I was expecting to pass TA in about 30 days, it now looks like it about 45-50 days 🙁

Good luck TA and may the best team win the race to the #1 spot first 😉

Due to Twioz returning to TA from SO, our stats had a major boost. I don't want to gloat on this because it is an unfair advantage. However, SO's production is still on a slightly higher side so TAers, be wary!

You have a pretty nifty stats page and I am impressed 🙂. I refer to your page quite often since you basically have everybody's stats there. I always wondered how you actually extracted and stored the information for all four quarters? Do you use a database or excel file to store the info?

Anyway, you have a great site 🙂.

Yes, i store the data in a database file. Otherwise i could'nt make history stats for the about 1.000 ECCp users 🙂
And i just look at the yesterday stats to check the amount of blocks someone sends that day. Just simply Todays total points - Yesterdays total points.
