my friend ordered some ECC ram for his TH7 and it turns out that it was ECC will this affect how high he can push his FSB?

i have heard varying things about the issue but do not know anything solid

i am pretty sure ECC DDR SDRam does not like to be run out of spec but was wondering if this also applies to RDRAM

also would disabling ECC in the bios fix this problem?

When ECC is disabled in the BIOS, it acts like any other RAM. The overclockability will be based on the quality of the RAM.
