ECC ram and non ECC ram in same system

I currently have 128Mb of PC133 in my system. I also have a 64MB of PC100. Now, i just upgraded to an ABIT BF6 and a P3 650, so OC'ing to BX-133 is a definite option. The only thing holding my back, is the PC100 64MB DIMM.

I can "borrow" a 128MB stick of PC133 ECC ram from work. ( Came out of a new server which we filled with 256MB DIMMs )
Will the ECC ram work with the normal DIMM, or will they types not mix?

Thanks
Cephas

Yes, you can mix ECC RAM with non-ECC. Remember to switch ECC off in the BIOS.

I've run ECC with non-ECC on a BH6 no problem, only problem i can think of would be if the server stick is buffered type and your mb doesnt support it.

You can turn off ECC in the BIOS;however, once you plug in a stick of NON ECC it automatically turns off the ECC feature in the other stick of RAM and by the way it will run your PC 133 at the slower speed of PC 100.
