ECC Memory?

Would there be a noticable performance penalty for using ECC PC-800 RAM instead of Non-ECC PC-800 RAM? The memory would be used on an i840 platform.

i think its less then a 1% chance.

BEWARE,

There are several vendors selling "cheap" PC800 RIMMs which will downclock to PC600 when you enable ECC. I don't have any personal experience here, but I've heard this from *several* DIYers building P4 boxes. Just get some quality stuff.
