ECC memory vs Non-ECC??

I have a friend that will sell me a 128MB 133 mhz stick of ram for a good price. Only problem is that it is ECC. Will this hurt performance?? Also the ram was pulled from his Dell, should it work ok on a MSI K7T Pro?

It will work but ecc is a bit slower since it has to calculat parity.. can't mix ecc & non-ecc memory to my knowledge...

You can run ecc and non-ecc together, but it will run as non-ecc ram.
