well, not really problems but when I was building the system, it booted up fine first time. Then I connected floppy,cd rom and hard drives and it didnt post. I just got one beep followed by about 5 consecutive beeps. Anyway, I disconnected each drive one by one and still no luck. So i disconnected everything, reseated video card and it posted. Then I connected just the hard drive, and it posted. Then I connected floppy and it did the one beep followed by 5 beep thing. Could it be a bad floppy? what else could it be that might be causing this?

I had the same thing happen to me a while back. After reseating and unplugging/replugging everything a few times, the beeps went away and all has been well since.

I believe the bios fix was to correct floppy disk corruption in win2k not a booting issue...

It is likely you didn't have the agp card in all the way the first time and may have bumped the card as you were installing the other devices and thus knocking it out and causing the beep code error of check vid card...
