I would expect Ebola to spread over a lot of Africa, and elsewhere. People are exposed to the virus, they get on planes and fly to other country's. Why wouldn't it spread?
I think the only thing that Africa does have going for it right now is the size and lack of prolific modern transportation. Without that, it takes to long to get from A to B and the infected die in the process.
1) ebola cases are growing exponentially
2) there are zero meaningful travel restrictions from affected ebola hot zones (fever screening has at best a 7-10% chance to stop infected people from traveling)
it is only a matter of time before cases appear in india
at that point we are in some serious shit
ultra high pop density + extreme poverty comingled with very rich people who travel.
